Centre Stories

Every month we collate encouraging stories from The Centre and from our Guests….

CJ has been using the Centre for some time and we have helped them gain accommodation and supported them in sustaining this accommodation over the last year; helping them access benefits by using our IT facilities, signing them up to pay bills, registering them with a GP, and also providing them a hamper of food and a few pots and pans when they moved into their property.

They have always been grateful of the support we have offered them over their time accessing the centre and recently they came into the Centre with a monetary donation. I firstly informed them that this was not needed, that we do what we do freely, but when they insisted, saying: “Put this to use in the centre and help other people like you’ve helped me, I wouldn’t be here today without your help.” I graciously and gratefully accepted their donation.
